Chrysler 300 Wins AJAC 2005 Best New Luxury Car Award
 The all-new Brampton-built Chrysler 300 continues to bring home the gold with an award from the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) as the 2005 Best New Luxury Car, putting it in the running for the prestigious Canadian Car of the Year award, which will be announced in mid-February 2005 at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto.

The 2005 Chrysler 300 faced intense competition from other luxury cars in its category, but emerged as the clear-cut winner for its unique combination of contemporary styling and powerful performance, delivered by its available 340 horsepower 5.7-litre HEMI® V8 engine. The industry-leading Multi Displacement System (MDS) and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) are standard technologies on the Chrysler 300, making it a great value for a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting at $29,995. Calendar year-to-date, sales of the Chrysler 300 account for 48 percent of the full-size luxury car segment in Canada.
AJAC is an association of professional journalists, writers and photographers whose focus is the automobile and the automotive industry. The majority of its journalists test-drive, and report on, new vehicles on an on-going basis in various media across the country. An integral part of the association is the annual Car of the Year Awards program. Its primary purpose is to provide consumers with sound, objective, comparative information on which to base their new vehicle buying decisions.
To win an AJAC "of the year" award, a vehicle must undergo a series of comprehensive back-to-back team and individual testing with other vehicles in its category.
