FORD CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION CONTEST LASTS ALL MONTH LONG
OAKVILLE, Ont., June 2nd, 2003 When Ford Motor Company turns 100 years old on June 16th, 2003, worldwide celebrations are planned, including five days full of activities in Deerborn, Michigan. Ford of Canada dealers want to celebrate all month long and their celebrations include Ford and Lincoln vehicles as prizes.
The dealer Centennials Celebration Contest confirms that the month of June is the time to buy or lease (and perhaps win) a Ford or a Lincoln vehicle. Customers who go to their Ford or Lincoln dealership and select a new Ford or Lincoln car or truck to purchase or lease can call into the Ford Centennial Celebration Hotline and find out if they have won the purchase or lease of their dream car.
The Centennial Celebration Contest is a fitting way to mark the 100th year of the Ford Motor Company. It brings extra excitement to those customers who are interested in buying or leasing one of our Built for life in Canada products, said Mike Herniak, vise president, General Marketing, Ford Motor Company of Canada, Ltd.
We think this contest will attract new customers to Ford or Lincoln dealerships in the hope that they will be the lucky winner of their purchase or lease, Herniak added.
In all, 30 vehicles will be awarded one car for everyday in June. Contestants also have a chance to win one of 3000 limited edition Ford Centennial jackets. Commemorating Fords anniversary, 100 jackets will be awarded for everyday in June at Ford and Lincoln dealerships across Canada.
The Ford Centennial Celebration adds to Fords current 0.0 percent 60 month APR financing on most Ford and Lincoln vehicle lines.
